We are very excited to announce that Josey will be bred this summer. She is one of very few Chesapeakes to finish their CH titles at National ACC & Canadian Specialties. At the ACC National in 2005 Josey earned WINNERS BITCH from the Bred by Exhibitor class under Judge Bonnie Threlfall. Josey then went on to BEST OF WINNERS under Judge Dorothy MacDonald, defeating a total of 166 dogs to finish her title. The following year at the 2006 ACC National she earned a JUDGES AWARD OF MERIT, defeating 204 Chesapeakes, placing her in the Top 8 of 212 dogs. In Canada she finished her title in 3 straight shows including the Canadian National. She placed BEST OF WINNERS and BEST OF OPPOSITE SEX over Specials competition that weekend. Her first win was BEST IN SWEEPSTAKES at the ACC Supported Entry at the Kalamazoo Kennel Club in 2003. Since then in addition to finishing two titles at two Nationals, she has placed Best of Breed from the classes over top ranked Champions. Her most recent win was Best of Breed under judge Carl Leipman over #4 ranked competition. In addition to her outstanding conformation & temperament Josey is also a PHENOMENAL  UPLAND hunting partner. Out of her first litter that is now 11 months old, Bob - Irish's Robert Garcia DePauda already has many, many hours afield retrieving various game birds.  In addition this year at The Detroit Kennel Club show Bob was Awarded Best Puppy in Breed under Judge Dr. Klaus Anselm and Best of Opposite Sex in Sweepstakes under Breeder/Judge Diane Baker.
