 Rudy is co-owned with Mark & Vickie Freeman. They live with Rudy in Holly, MI. Rudy spends a lot of time hunting locally and takes an annual trip out west every year for pheasants. |
CH IRISH'S MYSTICAL MAIDEN 'Kuma'  Kuma finished her Championship title taking Winners Bitch at the American Chesapeake Club National Specialty over an entry of 106 bitches in September of 2003 under Judge Donald Booxbaum. She was just less than 2 years old. This same year, Kuma earned Winners Bitch under judge Robert Moore at the ACC Supported entry of the Kalamazoo Kennel Club show for a 5 point major. |

 Kuma at 4 1/2 years old. |
 Kuma is co-owned and lives in Mt.Pleasant, MI with her owners Bob & Kip Cosan along with their daughters Jackie & Carolynn. We all got very lucky in the spring of 2004. Whenever Kuma went for a car ride, as soon as they got home, she would make a big circle in the front yard and up at the door of the house which sits hundreds of feet from the road. One day after returning from a show, while pulling in the driveway, something was in the way and they had to stop and remove it. Kuma jumped out of the car like normal only this time they were only halfway up the drive. Her big circle routine took her into the road before anyone could stop her. She was hit by a car. One hip was dislocated and the other side of her pelvis was broken. She spent a week at MSU before she was stable enough for the repairs to be made. Fortunately there were no internal injuries. She is fully recovered and doing well now. It just happened that we took care Kuma the previous January while her family was on vacation and figured we might as well get her hips OFA'd while we had her. |
